Jose Candia is a Canadian artist, born in Argentina. He studied painting and design in his native city of Tandil. In the seventies he pursued a career in Engineering, receiving a degree in surveying. By the end of that decade he moved to the GTA (Great Toronto Area) and now resides in Mississauga, Ontario. Since then he has been exhibiting his works around United States and Canada

His last works depict the flavour of a bygone epoch with acute detail: colourful facades, nostalgic affiches on decaying walls, or that cobblestone passage to explore.....
